Ingredients of Sweet Pongal Recipe
- Rice - 1 Cup
- Water - 2 Cups
- Condensed milk - ½ Cup
- Jaggery - 20 gm
- Ghee - 2 Tablespoons
- Cardamom - 2
- Cloves - 2
- Chopped cashew nuts - 2 Tablespoons
- Raisins (kismis) - 1 Tablespoon
How to Make Sweet Pongal
Step 1: Take a microwave safe bowl and add rice, water and ghee and microwave it for 15 minutes at 100% power. Don’t cover the bowl, leave it uncovered.
Step 2: Now, when rice is done and cooked, add cardamoms, cloves, jaggery, and condensed milk and microwave it for 5 minutes. Cover the bowl and microwave it at 100% power.
Step 3: Stir in between and mix it well.
Step 4: Now add nuts and raisins and mix it well and serve hot.
