Southern Style Fried Chicken Salad, this chicken salad is chicken tenders. This delicious salad can be done in just 15 minutes. This easy and quick salad can make one of your favourite salad dishes.
I do enjoy it once in a while, but I made other chicken dishes more often. But it has totally different taste, and flavour compared to the usual salad. This salad dish has a tiny bit of sweet taste because of cream and onion. And it combines well with the slight spiciness of paprika also it has a tangy taste of tomatoes. So here I share my most loved salad recipe, which is as described below.
Ingredients of Fried Chicken Salad Recipe
- Yellow cornmeal - ¼ Cup
- Paprika - ½ Cup
- Chicken tenders - 1 Pound
- Torn lettuce leaves - 8 Cups
- Sugar snap peas - 8 oz
- Tomatoes - 2
- Red onion - ½
How to Make Fried Chicken Salad
Step 1: Cut the chicken tenders into half and keep aside.
Step 2: Then blanch the peas.
Step 3: Blend all the ingredients for the dressing.
Step 4: Now, heat the oven to 450°F.
Step 5: Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and make sure to coat it with nonstick spray.
Step 6: On a sheet of wax paper, mix the cornmeal and paprika.
Step 7: Coat the chicken with cornmeal mixture and place on a prepared pan coated with nonstick spray.
Step 8: Bake for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
Step 9: Add chicken to other salad ingredients and toss together in a salad bowl.
Step 10: Top each salad serving with two tablespoons dressing.
