This delicious Sabudana Laddoo recipe works perfectly as a dessert dish on your fasting days that gives you energy and refreshing. To make this recipe we need sago, peanut, khoya, ghee, sugar and some dry fruits. You can try different sabudana recipes like sabudana kheer, sabudana khichdi, and sabudana vada.
Ingredients of Sabudana Laddoo Recipe
- Sago - 2 Cups
- Peanut - 1 Cup
- Mashed khoya - ½ Cup
- Dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachio, raisins) - ½ Cup
- Powdered sugar - ½ Cup
- Ghee - ½ Cup
How to Make Sabudana Laddoo
Step 1: In a frying pan, heat one tablespoon of ghee and add sago in it and roast it for about 5 minutes.
Step 2: In a mixer jar, place this roasted sago and grind it and transfer it to a bowl then add peanuts and roughly crush them.
Step 3: Now, heat remaining ghee in the same pan and add crushed sago and again roast it for about 2 minutes.
Step 4: When the sago is roasted add crushed peanut and stir them for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 5: Add khoya and dry fruits. Mix them well and turn off the heat.
Step 6: Transfer this mixture to the bowl and allow it to cool slightly before adding powdered sugar.
Step 7: Now, add sugar and mix it, then roll into even sized laddoos.
Step 8: Your sabudana laddoo is ready to serve.
