Ingredients of Prawns Pulao Recipe
- Basmati rice - 200 gm
- Prawns (cleaned, shelled and deveined) - 200 gm
- Peas - 10 gm
- Curd - 100 ml
- Finely chopped onions - 2
- Garlic-ginger paste - 2 Tablespoons
- Chili powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Chopped coriander leaves - 1 Tablespoon
- Black cardamoms - 2
- Cloves - 2
- Cinnamon stick - 1
- Bay leaves - 2
- Oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Water - 300 ml
How to Make Prawns Pulao
Step 1: Apply chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, curds, salt and pepper to the prawns and keep aside for half an hour to marinate.
Step 2: Now, take a microwave safe bowl and add oil, whole garam masala, and onions. Covered it and microwaved it at 100% power for 2 minutes.
Step 3: Then add rice, prawns, and water to it and mix it well. Microwave covered for 8 minutes at 100% power and then for 6 minutes at 60% power. Stir in between.
Step 4: Standing time for 3 to 5 minutes to be given.
Step 5: Serve hot with curds or raita.
