Moraiya Ni Idli
Moraiya Ni Idli is a unique & different kind of idli recipe which is made without using rice. It is very delicious and yummy yet healthy form of a recipe. Moraiya Ni Idli is made from the batter of parsai ke chawal that is spiced with green chilies and ginger paste and also the peanut powder is added in it for the nutty flavor, and at last, seasoned with rock salt. Ingredients of Moraiya Ni Idli Recipe
- Parsai ke chawal - 1 Cup
- Chopped green chillies - 1 Tablespoon
- Some chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Chopped ginger - 1 Teaspoon
- Peanut powder - 2 Tablespoons
- Rock salt - 1 Teaspoon
How to Make Moraiya Ni Idli
Step 1: In a medium bowl, place parsai ke chawal (Moraiya) and wash it in running water.
Step 2: In a mixer jar, blend this parsai ke chawal along with chopped green chilies and ginger into the coarse paste.
Step 3: Transfer it to the medium bowl and add peanut powder, rock salt to it. Mix well.
Step 4: Now, heat sufficient water in a steamer.
Step 5: Meanwhile, grease the idli molds or tray with oil and fill these molds with the batter.
Step 6: Then place this idli plate into the steamer and steam it for about 10-12 minutes.
Step 7: Remove idli molds from steamer and set aside for 2-3 minutes to cool.
Step 8: After 2-3 minutes spoon out this idli from molds.
Step 9: Serve it with green chutney.
