A traditional, mouth-watering Goan fish curry recipe cooked in the microwave. A delicious fish curry cooked with coconut milk and vinegar. Usually to give the tanginess to this dish people use tamarind but I have preferred to use vinegar if you are not comfortable with using vinegar you can use lemon or tamarind too.

Ingredients of Goan Fish Curry Recipe
- Fish steaks - 500 gm
- Coconut milk - 2 Cups
- Sliced onions - 2
- Chopped tomato - 1
- Chopped green chilies - 3
- Oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Pepper to taste
- Vinegar - 1 Tablespoon
- Garam masala - ¼ Teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - ¼ Teaspoon
How to Make Goan Fish Curry
Step 1: Apply salt and vinegar to fish steaks and keep aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 2: In a microwave-safe bowl, add oil, onions, tomatoes, green chilies and microwave at 100% power for a 3-4 minute.
Step 3: Add coconut milk, fish and dry masala to taste. Cover and microwave for a 6-7 minute till fish tender. Stand for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Serve hot with plain boiled rice.
