Ingredients of Makai Shorba Recipe
- Tender corn kernels - 1 Cup
- Water - 2 Cups
- Butter - 1 Tablespoon
- Chopped onion - 1
- Chopped garlic cloves - 3
- Garam masala - ½ Teaspoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Pepper powder - 1 Teaspoon
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- Chopped coriander for garnishing - 1 Tablespoon
How to Make Makai Shorba
Step 1: Blend the corn kernels in a blender with ½ cup water.
Step 2: in a microwave-safe dish, place butter, add chopped onion and garlic and microwave for 2 minutes at 100% power.
Step 3: Add water, salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, and blended corn kernels.
Step 4: Microwave for a 4-5 minute at 100% power. Stir in between.
Step 5: Serve hot with lemon juice and green coriander.
