Ingredients of Kela Vada Recipe
- Raw banana - 5
- Green chilli paste - 1 Tablespoon
- Lemon - 1
- Garam Masala - 1 Tablespoon
- Castor sugar - 1 Tablespoon
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 Tablespoons
- Besan (Gram flour) - 1/2 Cup
- Raisins - 10
- Red chili powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil for frying - 4 Cups
How to Make Kela Vada
Step 1: Pill the banana and apply salt over it and then boil it on the heat.
Step 2: Now, crush the boiled bananas.
Step 3: Mix all the ingredients into this boiled banana, do not add oil and gram flour to this mixture.
Step 4: Now, make a small ball from this mixture.
Step 5: In a bowl, add gram flour, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, one teaspoon oil and make a thick batter from it.
Step 6: Now, in the frying pan, heat the oil on MEDIUM heat.
Step 7: Now, add the banana balls into this batter and then add it into the frying pan and fry them until it becomes golden brown.
Step 8: your hot raw banana vada is ready to serve. Enjoy the kela vada with chutney or sauce.
