Ingredients of Kathiyawadi Style Stuffed Potato Recipe
- Potatoes - 500 gm
- Cumin seeds - 1 Teaspoon
- Asafoetida (hing) - 1 Pinch
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Grated coconut - 1 Bowl
- To Make Chutney
- Garlic cloves - 8
- Lemon juice - 2 Tablespoons
- Coriander leaves - 2 Teaspoons
- Sugar - 1 Teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Grated coconut - 1 Tablespoon
How to Make Kathiyawadi Style Stuffed Potato
Step 1: Wash the potatoes thoroughly and parboil it.
Step 2: Now remove the potato skin and cut it lengthwise.
Step 3: Now, in a grinder, add garlic cloves, coriander leaves, salt, sugar, and grated coconut and grind it to a smooth paste.
Step 4: Then add lemon juice to it and keep it aside.
Step 5: Now add this chutney to the chopped potatoes.
Step 6: Now in a frying pan, add two tablespoons of oil and then add cumin seeds and asafoetida to it.
Step 7: Then add potatoes to it and fry them.
Step 8: Once the potatoes are fried well. Remove it from the oil and add them to a serving bowl.
