Ingredients of Kaju Katli Recipe
- Cashew nuts - 250 gm
- Sugar - 150 gm
- Cardamom powder (elachi powder) - 1 Teaspoon
- Milk - 1 Cup
- Ghee - 1 Tablespoon
- Silver Foil
How to Make Kaju Katli
Step 1: Add milk to the bowl and soak cashew nuts for 2 hours. After that crush the cashew nuts in a mixture and make thick gravy of it.
Step 2: In a frying pan, add this cashew nuts mixture and sugar and mix it well. Stir in between.
Step 3: When the mixture becomes thicker, add Elachi powder and ghee to it and mix it.
Step 4: Now, spread this mixture on a clean work surface.
Step 5: Slightly roll it with a rolling pin to 1/6” thickness. Add silver foil on it.
Step 6: Let it cool for some time and then cut it into diamond shaped katlis.
