Ingredients of Jal jeera Recipe
- Black pepper - 2 Tablespoons
- Black salt - 2 Tablespoons
- Cumin seeds - 2 Tablespoons
- Ginger - 15 gm
- Mint leaves - 30 gm
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Pomegranate seeds - 2 Tablespoons
- Water - 2 Litre
How to Make Jal jeera
Step 1: Slightly broil the cumin seeds and mix with the peppercorns and pomegranate seeds.
Step 2: Grind them to a powder.
Step 3: Grind mint leaves and ginger to a paste.
Step 4: Soak amchoor in little water for about 45 minutes and sieve.
Step 5: Mix all the ingredients and add water, salt, and black salt.
Step 6: Mix well and strain and check for seasoning.
Step 7: Serve chilled, in a pony tumbler garnished with a slice of lemon and a spring of fresh mint.
