Ingredients of Rasam Powder Recipe
- Dried red chillies - 1 ¼ Cup
- Coriander seeds - 2 ½ Cups
- Cumin seeds - ½ Tablespoon
- Black pepper corns - ½ Cup
- Curry leaves - 2 Cups
- Pigeon peas - ¾ Cup
- Bengal gram - 1/4 Cup
- Turmeric powder - 1 Tablespoon
How to Make Rasam Powder
Step 1: Roast each ingredient, except turmeric powder, separately in a dry frying pan over LOW heat, tossing gently for a few moments.
Step 2: Roast chilies, spices, and curry leave till it fragrant and dals till becomes golden in color.
Step 3: Now, cool it and combine all ingredients including turmeric powder and grind to a fine powder.
Step 4: Store in an airtight container and use it as required.
