Pauva No Chevdo
Pauva no chevdo or poha chivda is an easy and instant Gujarati snacks recipe. Poha chevda is a crispy namkeen that can quickly make at home for the Diwali festival. Poha chivda is made with thick poha (beaten rice), fried peanuts. Coconut flakes, raisins and tempered with chilli and curry leaves. Also, Indian spices give a delicious flavour to it.

Ingredients of Pauva No Chevdo Recipe
- Peanuts - 100 gm
- Anise seeds - 2 Tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 Tablespoon
- Poha (Flattened rice) - 400 gm
- Red chili powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil as required
- Curry leaves - 4
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Carom seeds (Ajwain) - ½ Teaspoon
How to Make Pauva No Chevdo
Step 1: In a frying pan add one teaspoon oil and fry curry leaves and peanuts. Keep it aside.
Step 2: Then in the same pan add poha and fry it. Keep it aside to dry.
Step 3: Now add aniseed, ajwain, turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder and sugar to poha and softly mix it.
Step 4: Lastly add fried peanuts and curry leaves to the poha mixture.
Step 5: Pauva No Chevdo or Poha Chivda is ready to serve.
