Ingredients of Farali Aloo Khichdi Recipe
- Parsai ke chawal - 1 Cup
- Ghee - 2 Tablespoons
- Cumin seeds - 1 Teaspoon
- Cloves - 2
- Green cardamoms - 2
- Cinnamon stick, broken into two pieces - 1 Inch
- Large diced potato - 1
- Rock salt - 2 Teaspoons
- Red chilli powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Water - 3 Cups
- Few coriander leaves, for garnishing
How to Make Farali Aloo Khichdi
Step 1: Heat the ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, green cardamoms and cinnamon stick to and let it fragrant.
Step 2: Add diced potatoes and parsai ke chawal. Mix them well and sauté it till lightly fried.
Step 3: Now add rock salt, red chili powder and water to and bring it to boil.
Step 4: When the water starts boiling, lower the heat and cover the pan with the lid and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Step 5: When it is cooked transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot.
