Egg Florentine is a quick and simple recipe to make. Spinach and cheese enhance the taste of this dish. Cooked and sliced eggs are served with spinach and cheese.
I have made this egg Florentine a few weeks back. That time I got a dozen eggs, with half of it, I have made this dish, and with remaining half, I have made golden salted egg yolk chicken. The procedure of making egg Florentine is a little time consuming and to enhance the creaminess of this dish here I use a white sauce and butter also. One more recipe often I make with using eggs which is an egg in a biscuit.
Ingredients of Egg Florentine Recipe
- Spinach - 200 gm
- Grated cheese - 10 gm
- White sauce - 100 ml
- Eggs - 2
- Butter - 1 Tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
How to Make Egg Florentine
Step 1: Pre-heat the oven.
Step 2: Heat butter in a vessel and add the chopped spinach leave and salt. Let it cook by covering the vessel until done.
Step 3: Spread the spinach in a small pyrex dish and sprinkle the grated cheese on the top.
Step 4: Then add sliced eggs and white sauce.
Step 5: Place this dish in a pre-heated oven for 3-4 minutes.
