It is made with curd and maida based gravy along with boiled peas, tomato sauce, red chili powder, ginger, etc. This dish is best to serve in family lunch or dinner. Ingredients of Dudhiya Matar Recipe
- Shelled peas - 2 Cups
- Curd - 1 Cup
- Refined flour (maida) - 2 Tablespoons
- Green cardamoms - 3
- Tomato sauce - 2 Tablespoons
- Finely chopped ginger - 2 Teaspoons
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Red chili powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Roasted cumin seeds - ½ Teaspoon
How to Make Dudhiya Matar
Step 1: Boil 4 cups water with one teaspoon salt and a ½ teaspoon sugar. Add peas. Boil till done.
Step 2: Beat the curd with maida till smooth. Add green cardamoms to curd.
Step 3: Boil ½ cup water in a pan. Add curd, stirring continuously. Add red chili powder and salt. Boil for 4-5 minutes on LOW ﬂame.
Step 4: Now, add the boiled peas and ginger and give one boil it.
Step 5: Then, add sauce. Simmer covered for 5 minutes.
Step 6: Once its ready garnish it with cumin seeds powder and serve hot.
