Ingredients of Bhindi Tava Fry Recipe
- Okra - 2 Cups
- Red chilli powder - 2 Teaspoons
- Turmeric powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 Teaspoon
- Semolina (rava) - 2 Tablespoons
- Coriander-cumin powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil - 3 Tablespoons
How to Make Bhindi Tava Fry
Step 1: Wash the okra and wipe it very well then slit okra into thinner slices.
Step 2: Take this slit okra in a bowl and season it with one teaspoon of red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Step 3: In a bowl, place semolina and add red chilli powder, coriander-cumin powder, and salt. Mix them well.
Step 4: Now, mix this semolina mixture along with seasoned okra and make sure the okra coated well.
Step 5: Heat oil in a pan and once heated add seasoned okra and toss it well.
Step 6: Cover the pan with a lid and cook it over MEDIUM heat for 4-5 minutes.
Step 7: After 5 minutes remove the lid and cook it for another 5 minutes until crisp.
Step 8: When the okra becomes the crispy turn off the heat and remove from the pan and serve hot with roti and curd.
