Ingredients of Chinese Samosa Recipe
- All purpose flour - 1 Cup
- Carom seeds - ¼ Teaspoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Ghee - 2 Tablespoons
- Oil - 4 Cups
- For The Stuffing
- Boiled noodles - 1 Cup
- Grated carrot - ¼ Cup
- Green peas - ¼ Cup
- Shredded cabbage - ¼ Cup
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Red chili powder - ¼ Teaspoon
- Pepper powder - ¼ Teaspoon
- Fresh coriander leaves - 3 Tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 Tablespoon
- Soy sauce - ½ Tablespoon
- Finely chopped green chili - 1
- Ginger paste - 1 Teaspoon
How to Make Chinese Samosa
To Make Dough:
Step 1: Place all-purpose flour in a bowl along with ghee, carom seeds, and salt. Mix well.
Step 2: Add a little water at a time and knead a stiff dough. Cover it and set aside for a half an hour.
To Make Stuffing
Step 3: In a wide pan, heat oil and add ginger paste, and chopped green chilli sautés it for a while then add green peas and cook it for about 3-4 minutes.
Step 4: Add shredded carrot and cabbage. Mix well and cook it for a minute.
Step 5: Then add red chilli powder, pepper powder, soy sauce, lemon juice, and salt. Stir well and sauté it for another minute.
Step 6: Now, add boiled noodles and coriander leaves. Toss them to mix well.
To Make Samosa
Step 1: After half an hour, take the dough and divide into the equal-sized portion.
Step 2: Now, roll out each piece of dough into a thin oval chapatti. Cut into the half.
Step 3: Take one-half and apply water on the straight edge and fold that edge to make a cone. Make sure that watered edge is overlapped and sealed.
Step 4: Put the stuffing into the cone and seal it to make a samosa.
Step 5: Similarly, prepare other samosas.
Step 6: Heat the oil in a deep vessel and deep-fry these samosas over MEDIUM heat till golden brown on all sides and crisp.
Step 7: Serve hot with schezwan sauce.
