Ingredients of Chicken Egg Roll Recipe
- Boneless and skinless chicken breasts - 300 gm
- Eggs - 2
- Chopped onions - 1 Cup
- Shredded Cabbage - 1 Cup
- Peeled and shredded carrots - 1 Cup
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 Tablespoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil for deep frying - 3 Cups
- Soy sauce - 1 Teaspoon
- Chili sauce - 1 Teaspoon
- Garam masala - ½ Teaspoon
- Spring roll wrappers - 5
How to Make Chicken Egg Roll
Step 1: To make the filling, in a large bowl, add chicken, cabbage, carrot, ginger-garlic paste, egg, chili sauce, soy sauce, garam masala, onions and mix them well.
Step 2: Ensure that other vegetables and spices cover the chicken. Cover and allow to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
Step 3: Now, in a frying pan, add oil and add the marinade mixture to it and cook it for 5-10 minutes. Keep it aside to cool.
Step 4: Now, take a spring roll wrapper and add one tablespoon of chicken-egg filling to it and adequately cover the edges of the wrappers. Cover it and keep it aside.
Step 5: Repeat the same procedure for the remaining mixture and wrappers.
Step 6: Now, heat the oil in a deep frying pan and fry the chicken egg rolls one by one.
Step 7: Deep fry the rolls until it turns golden brown.
Step 8: Remove them from the oil and put it onto the absorbent paper to excess the oil.
Step 9: Serve warm chicken egg roll with hot chili sauce.
