- Olive oil - 1 Tablespoon
- Fresh cherries - 225 gm
- Plain flour - 1 Cup
- Egg - 1
- Skimmed milk - 1 ¼ Cup
- Almond essence - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Almonds - 2 Tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 Tablespoon
How to Make Cherry Almond Clafoutis
Step 1: Brush a 20 cm/8 in the shallow ovenproof serving dish with the oil.
Step 2: Place the cherries in a single layer in the dish.
Step 3: Sift the flour into a bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour and add the egg and half the milk.
Step 4: Whisk until smooth. Stir in the remaining milk and the almond essence and pour over the cherries.
Step 5: Sprinkle the almonds and sugar over.
Step 6: Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 30 minutes until it becomes golden in color and set.
Step 7: Serve hot.
