Actually, chicken is bland, but if it is adequately cooked and combined with other ingredients accurately then it tastes fantastic. Mushroom is also full of nutrients like any other vegetables. So the combination of these two is very healthy, and of course, together they make a tastier and fantastic dish. So here’s the recipe for the baked chicken and mushroom.
Ingredients of Baked Chicken and Mushroom Recipe
- Butter or oil - 4 Tablespoons
- Thyme - ¼ Teaspoon
- Pepper - ¼ Teaspoon
- Cleaned and boiler chicken - 1
- Paprika - 1 Teaspoon
- Flour - ¼ Cup
- Dry white wine - ¾ Cup
- Fresh sliced mushrooms - 2 Cups
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
How to Make Baked Chicken and Mushroom
Step 1: Melt the butter in a baking tray then add thyme, pepper, and salt. Dredge the chicken pieces properly in flour and then swish them in butter until both sides are adequately coated.
Step 2: Now arrange them in the baking dish. Bake in a hot oven at 400°F until browned or for 30 minutes.
Step 3: Reduce the heat to 350°F and turn the chicken pieces. Also, add mushrooms and wine to them.
Step 4: Cover the pan with foil and continue baking for 30 minutes more. Baked chicken and mushroom dish is ready to be served.
