Ingredients of Apple Ginger Soup Recipe
- Apples - 4
- Grated ginger - 1 ½” Piece
- Rind of lemon - 1
- Cinnamon stick - 1
- Honey - 1 Teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 ½ tablespoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Pepper - 1 Teaspoon
- Water - 5 Cups
- A slice of apple – finely chopped without peeling
- Few mint leaves for garnishing
How to Make Apple Ginger Soup
Step 1: Wash apples properly. Keeping aside 1/8 piece of 1 apple for the garnish, peel the rest of the apples. Grate the apples.
Step 2: Lightly grate the lemon to get rind.
Step 3: Mix 5 cups water, lemon rind, cinnamon, ginger and lemon juice to the grated apples.
Step 4: Keep them on fire and let it boil. After that reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 5: After it cools completely, blends it in a mixer. Strain it.
Step 6: Add honey, salt, and pepper to taste. Add lots of ice cubes to thin down the soup and chill it.
Step 7: Serve garnished with apple pieces and mint.
