Ingredients of Anjeer Halwa Recipe
- Anjeer (Figs) - 100 gm
- Ghee - 3 Tablespoons
- Almonds, blanched, peeled - ½ Cup
- Milk powder - ½ Cup
- Sugar - 4 Tablespoons
- Cardamom powder - ¼ Teaspoon
- Almond, cut into slices for garnishing - 2 Tablespoons
How to Make Anjeer Halwa
Step 1: In a pot add water and boil it, then add Anjeer to it and cook it for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Drain and puree the Anjeer in a mixture and keep it aside.
Step 3: Now, in a heavy bottomed pan, heat the ghee and add the almonds puree and saute it over a MEDIUM flame for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Now, add pureed Anjeer, milk powder, sugar, and water to it and cook for 5-6 minutes until the sugar completely dissolved, keep stirring continuously.
Step 5: Now, add cardamom powder and mix them well.
Step 6: Garnish the Anjeer Halwa with almonds slices and serve hot.
