Ingredients of Aloo Singhada Dahi Vada Recipe
- Boiled Potatoes - 300 gm
- Singhada or kuttu flour - 50 gm
- Rock salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Cardamom powder (elachi powder) - 1 Teaspoon
- Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1 Tablespoon
- Yogurt - 400 gm
- Red chili powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil for deep frying - 4 Cups
- Black pepper - 1 Teaspoon
How to Make Aloo Singhada Dahi Vada
Step 1: Boil and peel the potatoes.
Step 2: Now, in a bowl add boiled potatoes, rock salt, red chili powder and mix them well and make small bowls from this mixture.
Step 3: In another bowl, add singhada flour, rock salt, cardamom powder and knead them well.
Step 4: Now, beat the yogurt well and add one teaspoon black pepper to it and mix it well.
Step 5: Heat the oil in a frying pan.
Step 6: Now, take potato ball and cover the potato ball in the batter and put it into oil and deep fry it.
Step 7: Dry the vada from both sides till it turns golden brown.
Step 8: Now, add this vadas into beaten the yogurt bowl and garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve it.
