- Onions - 2
- Soy sauce - 2 Tablespoons
- Sugar - 2 Tablespoons
- Oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Raw prawns - 16
- Fish stock - 100 ml
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Pepper - 1 Teaspoon
How to Make Prawns With Onion
Step 1: In a bowl, combine the onions, soy sauce and sugar. Marinate for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 2: Heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry the prawns for about 5 minutes, until cooked, remove and keep warm.
Step 3: Add the onions and marinade to the wok and stir-fry gently for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Add the stock to the wok and continue cooking for a few minutes until the liquid has considerably reduced. Serve the onions topped with the prawns.
Step 5: Garnish with fresh herb sprigs.
