- Carrot - 1
- French beans - 5
- Onion - 1
- Potatoes - 2
- Tomatoes - 3
- Celery - 3 Sticks
- Green peas - ½ Cup
- Barley - 2 Tablespoons
- Macaroni - ½ Cup
- Butter - 2 Tablespoons
- Corn flour - 2 Tablespoons
- Tomato ketchup - 3 Tablespoons
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Pepper - 1 Teaspoon
- Grated cheese to serve - 1 Cup
How to Make Minestrone Soup
Step 1: Take a big pot and boil the macaroni, green peas and barley.
Step 2: Cut all the vegetables into small pieces.
Step 3: Heat the butter in a pot and fry all the vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes. Don’t include tomatoes.
Step 4: Pour the stock over the vegetables.
Step 5: Mix the cornflour in half teacup of water and add it to the stock.
Step 6: Now, cook it until all the vegetables are tender.
Step 7: Now, Add the cooked barley, green peas, tomato, tomato ketchup, salt, and pepper.
Step 8: Cook for 4-5 minutes more. Once ready, serve hot with plenty of grated cheese.
