Magaj is made from roasting gram flour, and then ghee, milk, and sugar are added to it. People of all age groups love Magaj ladoo. Ingredients of Magaj Ladoo Recipe
- Ghee - 1 Cup
- White sugar - 1/2 Cup
- Coarse chickpea flour - 1 Cup
- Cardamom powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Almonds sliced for garnishing - 1 Tablespoon
- A pinch of nutmeg powder
How to Make Magaj Ladoo
Step 1: Heat the ghee in a frying pan over the LOW flame and add chickpea flour to it.
Step 2: Sauté the flour till it becomes golden brown for 4-5 minutes.
Step 3: Now, add sugar and ghee to the flour and mix them well. Sauté it for 4-5 minutes.
Step 4: Then add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder to it and mix them well.
Step 5: Now, remove the pan from the heat and let it cool.
Step 6: Once the mixture is cool. Shape into ladoo with using your palms.
Step 7: Garnish it with the sliced almonds and serve it.
Step 8: You can also store it for 5-6 days in the air tight container.
