- Khakhara - 6
- Papad - 4
- Peanuts - 2 Tablespoons
- Daliya - 2 Tablespoons
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Mustard seeds - 1 Teaspoon
- Caster sugar - 1 Teaspoon
- Asafoetida (hing) - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Curry leaves - 6
How to Make Khakhra Papad Chivda
Step 1: Break the khakhra and papad into small pieces and mix them.
Step 2: Now, heat the oil into a deep frying pan and add mustard seeds to it. When the mustard seeds start crackling, add asafetida, curry leaves and peanuts and slightly fry it.
Step 3: Now, add khakhra-papad pieces, daliya (oatmeal), red chili powder, turmeric powder, and castor sugar and mix them well.
Step 4: Cook it for 4-5 minutes and then remove it from the heat.
