- Cumin seeds - 1 Cup
- Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 Cup
- Rice grains - 1 Tablespoon
- Husked masoor dal - 1 Tablespoon
How to Make Jeera Methi Powder
Step 1: Put a dry tava or griddle on low heat. Warm, add the cumin and roast, stirring continuously, till it crackles. Set aside in a bowl.
Step 2: Roast the fenugreek seeds till they turn pink. Add to the bowl containing cumin seeds.
Step 3: Roast the rice and dal for a couple of minutes.
