How to Make Chicken Kebab
Step 1: Cut the chicken into small bite-sized pieces and set aside.
Step 2: Peel and thinly slice the onions and garlic and place them in a shallow non-metallic dish. Add the melted butter, soy sauce, lemon juice, coriander, salt and pepper and mix well.
Step 3: Add the chicken and stir until coated all over. Cover and refrigerator for 7 hours to marinate.
Step 4: Remove the chicken from the marinade and put dry with absorbent kitchen paper. Thread the chicken onto skewers and cook under a preheated grill or over hot charcoal coals for about 10 minutes, until cooked and tender.
Step 5: Baste frequently with the marinade to prevent the kebabs from drying out.
Step 6: Serve hot or cold, garnished with fresh herb springs.
Step 7: Serve with boiled rice and a mixed pepper, tomato and onion salad.
- You can also use pork or turkey in place of chicken. Also, use ground cumin in place of coriander.
