Ingredients of Corn Flakes Chivda Recipe
- Corn flakes - 2 Cups
- Peanuts - ¼ Cup
- Halved cashew nuts - ⅓ Cup
- Raisins - ⅓ Cup
- Curry leaves - 12
- Red chili powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Rock salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil to fry - 3 Cups
How to Make Corn Flakes Chivda
Step 1: Take sufficient oil in a wok and heat it over medium-high flame.
Step 2: When the oil is heated, fry peanuts until light brown and drain them and put them on absorbent paper.
Step 3: Now, fry cashew nuts until lightly golden and drain them on kitchen paper.
Step 4: After that take cornflakes and in small batches until cornflakes expand well. Drain them well on kitchen paper.
Step 5: Take curry leaves and fry them until crisp.
Step 6: Now switch off the flame and finally add the raisins and fry them till puffed.
Step 7: In a large bowl, take all fried ingredients and add all dry spices like salt, rock salt, and red chili powder. Mix them well.
