Ingredients of Coffee Biscuits Recipe
- Coffee powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Flour - 1 Cup
- Butter - 2 tablespoon
- Caster sugar - 2 Tablespoons
- Baking powder - ¼ Teaspoon
- Egg - ¼
- Milk to make a dough - 1 Tablespoon
- Walnut halves - 8
How to Make Coffee Biscuits
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 250°C for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Sieve flour, coffee powder, and baking powder together.
Step 3: Cream the butter and sugar.
Step 4: Beat in the egg.
Step 5: Add flour and make a soft dough using the milk.
Step 6: Shape 8 to 10 balls out of the whole mixture.
Step 7: Keep them on a greased tray, flatten the top of each ball slightly and place halves of walnuts on top of each.
Step 8: Bake in a moderate oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Step 9: Remove the tray from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack.
