Ingredients of Classic Roasted Turkey Recipe
- Turkey, neck and giblets reserved - 1
- Sea salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Freshly grounded black pepper powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Chopped onion - 1
- Peeled carrots - 2
- Celery stalks - 2
- Fresh sage leaves - 4
- Fresh thyme sprigs - 4
- Water - 2 Cups
- Unsalted and melted butter - 1 Cup
How to Make Classic Roasted Turkey
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 260 °C.
Step 2: First of all, remove the neck and neck cavity from the bird and keep it aside. Remove the tail of the bird and set aside. Remove any excess fat attached to the skin and leftover pinfeathers. Also, remove the chest cavity and discard. Dry the turkey.
