Ingredients of Chaat Masala Recipe
- Cumin Seeds - 1 1/4 Cups
- Coriander Seeds - 1 Cup
- Black Pepper - 1 Tablespoon
- Thymol seeds (ajwain) - 1/2 Cup
- Hing (Asafoetida) - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Dry Mango Powder - 1/4 Cup
- Whole red chilies - 1 Tablespoon
- Black Salt - 2 Tablespoons
- Dry mint leaves - 1/2 Cup
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
How to Make Chaat Masala
Step 1: Heat a frying pan and dry roast, cumin seeds, ajwain, and coriander seeds until fragrant.
Step 2: Remove it from the pan and let it cool. Once it cool, add them in a blender and add black pepper and grind it again and make a smooth powder.
Step 3: Now add Hing (Asafetida), Dry Mango Powder, whole red chili, Black Salt, Dried mint leaves, and salt to it and mix them well.
Step 4: Store it in an airtight jar and use it as required.
