Ingredients of Bread Bonda Recipe
- Boiled and smashed potatoes - 3
- Bread slices - 6
- Onion - 1 Cup
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Red chili powder - ¼ Teaspoon
- Milk - 1 Cup
- Cumin seeds - ¼ Teaspoon
- Green chilies - 5
- Oil - 2 Tablespoons
How to Make Bread Bonda
Step 1: For Stuffing: In a pan, heat the oil. Once the oil heated properly, add potatoes, onions, cumin seeds, green chillies and red chilli powder and sauté them well. Now, add salt and mix them well. Your stuffing is ready to use.
Step 2: Now, take the bread slices and cut the bread edges and divide each bread slice into 4 parts.
Step 3: Take one bread slice and dip it into the milk and take it out. Repeat the procedure for all the bread slices.
Step 4: Now, take a spoonful of the potato stuffing mixture and put it in the bread centre.
Step 5: Cover the bread properly so the corners are properly covered.
Step 6: Now, in a deep frying pan, heat the oil and deep fry the stuffed bread. Deep fry them until the bread bondas turn golden brown.
Step 7: Remove the bread bondas on the absorbent paper and serve them with the tomato sauce.
