Ingredients of Anjeer Mawa Barfi Recipe
- Dry figs - ½ Cup
- Khoya - ½ Cup
- Sugar - 1 Teaspoon
- Water - 2 Tablespoons
- Ghee - ½ Teaspoon
- Cardamom powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Finely chopped almond - 1 Tablespoon
- Finely chopped cashew nuts - 1 Tablespoon
- Finely chopped pistachio - 1 Tablespoon
How to Make Anjeer Mawa Barfi
Step 1: Soak figs in boiling water for about 10 minutes. Drain and pat dry them then finely chop this soaked figs.
Step 2: Grease a plate with a few drops of ghee.
Step 3: Heat the pan and add sugar, water, and chopped figs. Cook them until the figs become tender and then mash with the back of the spoon. Let the water evaporates over MEDIUM heat. It will take 3-4 minutes.
Step 4: Add khoya to it and give it a mix. Cook it over low heat for another 2 minutes while continuously stirring it.
Step 5: Then add cardamom powder, chopped almonds, and cashew nuts. Mix them well and turn off the heat.
Step 6: Then transfer this figs mixture to the already greased plate. Spread it evenly and finally top it with chopped pistachio. Set aside to cool it for a while.
Step 7: Once it is cooled, cut it into the desired shape.
