Ingredients of Aloo Curry Recipe
- Boiled potatoes - 500 gm
- Onions - 2
- Finely chopped green chili - 4
- Chopped tomatoes - 2
- Mustard seeds or cumin seeds - 1 Teaspoon
- Oil - 3 Tablespoons
- Coriander powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Curry leaves - 8
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Coriander leaves - 1 Tablespoon
How to Make Aloo Curry
Step 1: Heat oil in a frying pan then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds when mustard seeds and cumin seeds splutter add curry tree leaves.
Step 2: Now, add chopped green chilli and onion to it and fry it for 5 minutes till it turns golden brown.
Step 3: Then add chopped tomatoes and boiled potatoes and mix it and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Now, add half cup water and salt to it and cook it for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Remove it from heat and sprinkle coriander powder to it and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapatti or rice.
