Prawns Pulao Recipe

  • 200 gm basmati rice, washed
  • 200 gm prawns (cleaned, shelled and deveined)
  • 10 gm peas
  • 100 ml curds
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoon garlic-ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • Salt, pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 black cardamoms
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 1 small stick cinnamon
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 300 ml water

How To Make?

Step 1: Apply chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, curds, salt and pepper to the prawns and keep aside for half an hour to marinate.

Step 2: Now, take a microwave safe bowl and add oil, whole garam masala and onions. Covered it and microwave it at 100% power for 2 minute.

Step 3: Then add rice, prawns and water to it and mix it well. Microwave covered for 8 minutes at 100% power and then for 6 minute at 60% power. Stir in between.

Step 4: Standing time for 3 to 5 minute to be given.

Step 5: serve hot with curds or raita.
