Papaya Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 small grated papaya
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • A pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 4-5 green chilies
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts
  • 1 juice of lemon
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
    Salt to taste

How To Make?

Step 1: Add oil to the frying pan and heat it on the flame.

Step 2: Now, add asafetida and mustard seed to the oil. When they start spluttering add green chilies to it and sauté it.

Step 3: Now, add the papaya, cumin seeds, sugar, peanuts, lemon juice, green coriander and salt to it and mix it well.

Step 4: Cook it for 2-3 minutes and then remove the pan from the heat. Keep it aside to cool.

Step 5: Serve papaya salad with Fafda or you can also have it as you want to eat.
