Fresh Peaches in Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 large peaches
  • 6 tablespoon sugar
  • 8-10 tablespoon water
  • Fresh grapes or cherries or almonds (blanched)

To make Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla custard powder

How To Cook?

Step 1: First wash the peaches well then divide into two halves.

Step 2: Now, jerk the two parts apart to divide into two equal halves and then remove the seed.

Step 3: Now, place the peaches in to flat microwave dish and then sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar on all the peaches.

Step 4: Now, pour 1 tablespoon of water on each peaches.

Step 5: Now, set the dish into microwave at HIGH temperature for 4 minutes or till the peaches turn very soft.

Step 6: After that remove them from the microwave and let it cool after that peel it.

Step 7: If you don’t want to use microwave than boil the peaches into 2 cups water with ¼ cup sugar and boil it until it becomes soft.

Step 8: Now, peel the peaches and arrange the stewed peaches in another serving dish. Don’t use sugar syrup. Keep it aside.

Step 9: Now, Dissolve the custard powder in ½ cup water and add it to the sugar Syrup.

Step 10: Cook it until it becomes thick and translucent.

Step 11: Now, pour the ready sauce over the arranged peaches. Decorate the peaches by placing a fresh cherry or a grape in the center of the each piece and Serve Chilled.
